Put the new wheelset through its first real gravel ride. The WR40s felt right at home on my Checkpoint bike. Wheels: Light Bicycle WR40 Disc Hubs: DT Swiss 350 Spokes: Sapim CX Ray Tires: Schwalbe G-One R Pro 50mm Rims+tires weight (no rotors/cassette): 2850g The 50 miles ride was a mix of paved roads, dirt and gravel, with plenty of rolling country roads and two creek crossings. The WR40s handled the creek crossings smoothly, with no issues getting through the rough approaches and water. The wide 32mm external profile works particularly well with the 50mm gravel tires. Overall, a great first outing for the new wheelset. Looking forward to putting many more gravel miles on them. Thank you Light Bicycle Team!
